What Your Body Knows: Self-Love Rebellion

Your body knows if you love it or not. What is it telling you today?

White Space Corner··2 min read

How do you treat your body?

Not in your mind—in practice. The daily realities of how you move, feed, rest, and speak to this physical home you live in.

Your body already knows whether you love it.

Signs of body love (and body neglect):

Do you feed your body when it's hungry, or ignore the signals?
Do you rest when you're tired, or push through?
Do you speak kindly about your body, or criticize it?
Do you clothe it in things that feel good, or things meant to hide it?

The body keeps track. Every skipped meal, every cruel comment in the mirror, every rest denied—it remembers.

And it responds. Tension holds where neglect lives. Exhaustion pools where care is withheld.

Try this practice:

Stand in front of a mirror (or imagine yourself fully).

Place your hand on your heart. Look at yourself and say:

"I'm sorry for the times I've been unkind to you. You have carried me through everything. Thank you."

Notice what arises. Resistance? Tears? Awkwardness?

Whatever comes, let it be. This is the beginning of repairing the relationship with your first home.
