A Small Step: Mid-Year Reset

Today is the summer solstice—the year's longest day, the turning point.

The sun pauses before beginning its descent. You can pause too.

A solstice intention-setting practice:

Step 1: Release what's not working
Write down 1-3 things from the first half that you want to release:

  • A habit that's not serving you
  • A goal that no longer fits
  • A belief that's holding you back

Symbolically release them. Cross them out. Tear up the paper. Let them go.

Step 2: Set new intentions
Write 1-3 intentions for July-December:

  • Keep them simple and clear
  • Focus on what you CAN control (actions, not outcomes)
  • Make them meaningful to YOU, not to anyone else

Step 3: Create a reminder
Write your intentions somewhere visible. Phone background. Mirror note. Calendar reminder.

Your 3 second-half intentions:

Happy solstice. May your second half be brighter than your first.
