Rest Day: Soft Living

Today, aim for a soft day.

Removing the hard edges:

  • Waking: Wake up naturally or to a gentle sound (not a blaring alarm)
  • Eating: Eat soft, warm, comforting food
  • Moving: Stretch rather than sprint
  • Speaking: Use a lower, gentler voice
  • Viewing: Look at nature rather than screens

The challenge:

The world will try to harden your day. News, notifications, demands.

Your practice is to be the pillow that absorbs the blow, not the wall that resists it. Yield. Flow. Breathe around the hardness.

A visualization:

Imagine you are floating in warm water. You don't have to hold yourself up. The water holds you. You are weightless.

Carry that feeling of being held through your day.

Next week:

We enter the final week of Q3. We'll talk about "The Anti-To-Do List"—clearing space to finish the quarter sane.

But for now... simply be soft.

Stillness Cards offer soft landings for hard days.
