Rest Day: Invisible Burnout

Week 9: Invisible Burnout

RestResilience

March begins today. A new month stretching ahead like blank pages.

If you're burned out—invisibly, quietly, functionally—let this be the month you take rest seriously.

This is your permission:

You don't have to "fix" your burnout this month. You don't have to implement 17 wellness routines. You don't have to optimize your recovery.

You just have to rest more than you push.

That's it.

More rest than push. Even if rest looks like:

  • Saying no to one extra thing
  • Going to bed 30 minutes earlier
  • Taking a walk with no purpose
  • Sitting in the sun doing nothing
  • Letting some balls drop

Burnout didn't develop overnight. It won't heal overnight. But orientation matters.

Turn toward rest. Even slightly. Even imperfectly.

Today's rest:

No agenda. No productivity. No self-improvement.

Just exist. Let March wrap around you gently.

Pretend you have permission to do absolutely nothing useful today—because you do. I'm giving it to you now.

Rest. Breathe. Be.

When rest feels like the hardest thing to do, Inner Spark Recovery can help you begin.
