Much of quarter-life crisis comes from chasing someone else's definition of success.
Today, you'll create your own.
The Success Redefinition Exercise:
Step 1: Clear the slate
For 5 minutes, forget everything you've been told success should look like. No career ladders, no relationship milestones, no house-and-car dreams. Empty your mind.
Step 2: Ask yourself honestly
- When do I feel most alive?
- What would I do even if no one was watching?
- What kind of days make me happy (not proud—happy)?
- What would I regret NOT doing before I die?
- What does a good day look like—specifically?
Step 3: Write your own definition
Complete this sentence:
"For me, a successful life means: _______________"
No right answer. No judgment. Just truth.
Keep it visible:
Write your definition somewhere you'll see it. When you start panicking about being "behind," read it.
Are you behind... on YOUR definition? Or on someone else's?
