Words of Wisdom: The Resilience Tool

Week 11: The Resilience Tool

QuoteResilience

"The oak fought the wind and was broken, the willow bent when it must and survived."

— Robert Jordan

"I can be changed by what happens to me. But I refuse to be reduced by it."

— Maya Angelou

"Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life."

— J.K. Rowling

These are words from people who know something about getting back up.

Notice: none of them claim to be unaffected. They were changed. They hit bottom. They broke.

But they didn't stay there.

That's what resilience is. Not immunity to pain—but refusal to be reduced by it.

Your reflection:

Which quote speaks to you today?

Write it down. Carry it with you.

When things get hard, let these words remind you: others have been here. Others have returned. So can you.

You are not alone in your struggle, and you are more resilient than you know.

When you need words to carry you, Inner Spark Recovery is here.
