April is nearly over. You've navigated Songkran, family dynamics, inner child work, and reparenting practices.
Today, your inner parent says: rest.
What a good parent would do:
If you saw a child who'd been working hard—learning new things, processing big emotions, trying their best—what would you tell them?
"You've done enough. Rest now."
Now say that to yourself.
A day of gentle parenting:
Today, parent yourself gently:
Morning: No alarms if possible. Wake naturally.
Food: Prepare something nourishing. Serve yourself nicely—a real plate, not eating over the sink.
Activities: Only what feels good. No obligations that can wait.
Evening: Early wind-down. Dim lights. Quiet.
Bedtime: Tuck yourself in with care. Say something kind before sleep.
This is reparenting in action. Not complicated. Just—caring for yourself as a beloved child.
Permission granted:
Your inner parent says: you've earned rest. Take it without guilt.
Welcome to May.
